Meet-ups Perth W.A.
Why social meet-ups?
The aim is to socialise and have fun and meet others while enjoying refreshments in a safe and trusted environment. I will share what fantastic opportunities you are welcome to be a part of through the year.
Working with children doesn't carry the important validation it deserves. However, I believe change happens at the margins of society anyway, by intuitive women who are rich with life experiences. We have to take responsibility for every aspect of our lives from well-being to finance and everything in between.
Some Benefits Are
to ward off any feelings of isolation or loneliness.
to listen and be heard in a place of equality without hierarchy.
to have empathy without taking on another person's emotions or what they are going through.
to celebrate any little or big achievement anybody wants to share.
what's working, what's not.
to share ideas about how we could do things differently to benefit the whole child service sector.
Other things happen too like
to state any occurrence we are not proud of, so it no longer anchors itself in our mind. This then then move on and use the experience for growth and empowerment, knowing no event, good or bad, defines the core of who we are.
to tone down the noise of the external world (social media) to hear our own internal wisdom.
to confidently dare to believe we can be the collective change and boldly initiate the action.
If this is something that interests you, but you have shyness or anxiety about coming to a new space on your own, talk to me as I'll help you make it easy.

What's In It For Me?
Quite simply put - children! We can only care and educate young children to the extent of how well we are functioning ourselves. It is known that face to face connections are far more sustaining than what social media can offer. You can learn more about me here
Kindness Compassion & Respect
... including to ourselves
“You don’t have to be rich to leave a positive legacy; you don’t have to be intelligent, famous, powerful or even particularly well organised, let alone happy. You need only to treat people with kindness, compassion and respect, knowing they will have been enriched by their encounters with you.”
― Hugh Mackay
